First of all many thanks, to all the fine folks that came out last night especially those that sang. There was a lot of good talent last night.
We did three new ones last night.
Lit Up by Buck Cherry. Sean sang it and even though we weren't planning on playing any of the new DM ones, I thought it came out pretty darn good. I look forward to playing it tonight in the 90s show.
Sober by Tool. Probably my favorite of the night. This song is just fun as hell to play on the bass. Luna Ashlee sang it and kicked it in the arse!
Paralyzer by Finger Eleven. This one was actually added last week, but this is the first time it was picked. Tyson sang it. I thought overall we did good with this song, considering we hadn't played it yet.
And a song we added over a year ago, but haven't played it until now..... Lady Marmalade by LaBelle. BreeAnne from Toronto. She was awesome. turns out she sings in a band not unlike Stone Cold Fox in Canada. Hahahaha. We held the arrangement together pretty well on this one.
And that's about it. Short post.
OH yeah, one more thing. If Come As You Are were an Adult Film, then when Skelly rides the crash cymbal during the guitar solo and the end................that's the money shot.
